Let’s Give a Warm Welcome to Spring

You’ve been waiting all winter for it, and spring is finally here. No doubt, you’re looking for fun things to do in Lehigh Valley, PA — especially if you’ve spent much of winter in the comforts of your home. Thankfully, there’s never a shortage of fun in this beautiful region.

No matter what you’re interested in —the arts, fine-dining, the arts — there’s always plenty of fun to be had in the Lehigh Valley. Each month, we have trouble creating this list of our favorite happenings, because there’s just too many to choose from. Well, we finally narrowed it down, so here’s a look at the March activities on our calendars.

3 Must-Attend March Events in the Lehigh Valley

Shows at State Theater

Everyone needs a little culture in their life, so take in a show at State Theater in Easton. This historic theater is a site to see in itself, with its stunning centerpiece chandelier and beautiful, ornate finishes. March has a fun lineup of events, including MasterChef Junior Live!, Bandstand, The Fab Faux and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.

DeSales University Film Festival

The 20th Annual DeSales University Film Festival takes place on March 27-28 at The Labuda Center for the Performing Arts, MainStage Theater in Center Valley. Enjoy several world premiere films, featuring up-and-coming directors, screenwriters, producers, cinematographers, designers, editors, animators and actors from the DSU film department. Enjoy a sneak peek at local talent, so when they’re nominated for Oscars one day, you can say you saw their first works.

East Penn Restaurant Week

Put on your stretchy pants and head to the east side of town from March 1-7 for East Penn Restaurant Week. Feast on prix fixe menus put together for the occasion, allowing you to sample the best from each participating restaurant in Alburtis, Macungie, Upper Milford Township, Lower Macungie Township and Emmaus. A few eateries joining in the restaurant week fun include GIO Italian Grill, Sahara Mediterranean Cuisine and the House and Barn.

CEO Letter

As a staffing and recruitment professional for over  30 years, I have seen many changes in the industry. Over that time, I’ve witnessed a transformation in the way organizations view staffing services. Today, we see more and more companies using staffing services as a strategic tool, rather than just for temporary fill-ins.

At HTSS, Inc., our focus is on helping companies create proactive workforce plans. Our goal is to help our clients use staffing strategically to increase capacity, overcome hiring freezes, access specialized talent, better manage increased workloads, and enhance overall productivity.

For our candidates, we help to uncover truly rewarding job opportunities—jobs that are a match to each candidate’s skills, and jobs that offer key experience and growth potential.

We look forward to strengthening our relationships with our current clients and candidates, as well as forming new and exciting partnerships in the future.

Sincerely,

Pat Howells
