Winter Fun Worth Braving the Cold For

The new year is here, and you’re searching for a few new things to do in Lehigh Valley, PA. Thankfully, that’s never a problem, as there’s never a shortage of fun activities in our local community  even in the chilly winter weather.

It can be tempting to hibernate all winter, but as cozy as that is, it can get old fast. If you’re already coming down with a case of cabin fever, it’s time to bundle up and take advantage of the fun activities happening in the Lehigh Valley this January.

At HTSS, Inc., we always have trouble deciding on our favorite local events each month, because there’s so many to choose from. However, we did manage to narrow it down for January. Here’s a look at the three local events we wouldn’t dream of missing this month.

Three January Happenings Worth Braving the Cold For

Easton Restaurant Week

Feed your inner foodie by heading to Easton Jan. 12-18 for Easton Restaurant Week. Nearly 20 local restaurants will be participating in the festivities  including 3rd & Ferry Fish Market, Maxim’s 22 and Mesa Modern Mexican  featuring special prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus. This allows you to sample several of the restaurant’s signature dishes, at a special price.

Hellertown-Lower Saucon Area Winter Restaurant Week

Not to be outdone by Easton, the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Area Winter Restaurant Week will also take place on Jan. 12-18. Enjoy the opportunity to feast on limited-time prix-fixe menus from more than a dozen local restaurants, including Springtown Inn, Ye Olde Spring Valley Tavern and Black River Farms & Vineyard.

Lehigh Valley Phantoms

Hockey season is in full swing, and you don’t even have to go all the way to Philly to see a game. Our local Lehigh Valley Phantoms have several home games in January  as well as February, March and April  so come on out and support the home team at the PPL Center in Allentown

CEO Letter

As a staffing and recruitment professional for over  30 years, I have seen many changes in the industry. Over that time, I’ve witnessed a transformation in the way organizations view staffing services. Today, we see more and more companies using staffing services as a strategic tool, rather than just for temporary fill-ins.

At HTSS, Inc., our focus is on helping companies create proactive workforce plans. Our goal is to help our clients use staffing strategically to increase capacity, overcome hiring freezes, access specialized talent, better manage increased workloads, and enhance overall productivity.

For our candidates, we help to uncover truly rewarding job opportunities—jobs that are a match to each candidate’s skills, and jobs that offer key experience and growth potential.

We look forward to strengthening our relationships with our current clients and candidates, as well as forming new and exciting partnerships in the future.

Sincerely,

Pat Howells
