Sometimes it might seem like certain safety rules and regulations were put in place just to make your job harder. The thing is, there’s definitely a reason behind them. You may not understand that reason, but that doesn’t mean you don’t need to take those precautions.
Whether this is wearing PPE for a task you don’t think you need it or inspecting equipment prior to use — even when you’re “certain” it’s fine — never cut corners when it comes to safety.
