It’s the holiday season and there’s so many fun things to do in Lehigh Valley. No matter how you like to enjoy the holidays, you’ll find plenty of markets, concerts, shows, parties and more.
You probably already know it’s impossible to be bored in our local area. However, this is especially true at this time of year, as the Lehigh Valley really goes all out for the holidays.
In fact, there’s so many fun things to do, it’s hard to chose between them. However, here at HTSS, Inc., we have a few favorites. Here’s some of the festive activities we’ll be doing this season.
Christmas in Bethlehem
Aptly deemed “Christmas City,” there’s no better place to spend the holidays than Bethlehem. Enjoy a variety of holiday activities this month, designed to make your season merry. Some of these include the Christmas huts on Main Street, historic Bethlehem museums and sites with Christmas-themed tours, strolling through the Historic Moravian Shopping District, enjoying festive activities in the SouthSide Arts District and of course, Christkindlmarkt.
Christkindlmarkt
Located in the Bethlehem SteelStacks, Christkindlmarkt is an annual holiday event you don’t want to miss. Honored twice by Travel + Leisure as one of the best holiday markets in the U.S., enjoy handmade works by more than 150 artisans, delicious food, ice carving and glassblowing demonstrations and more. The market is open Thursdays through Saturdays, Nov. 22 through Dec. 22, so don’t miss your chances to see it in person.
Ugly Sweater Party
Nothing says holiday season more than the Annual Ugly Sweater Party at Blue Mountain Resort’s Slopeside Pub & Grill in Palmerton. Held on Dec. 14 from 7-10pm, admission to this fun event is free, and anyone who wears an ugly sweater will be entered to win lift tickets, swag bags, gift cards and more. Prizes will also be awarded for ugliest sweater and most festive outfit.
