6th Annual Apple Days
Head to Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem on Sept. 7-8 to immerse yourself in all things apple at the 6th Annual Apple Days. Plan to spend the day enjoying apple food, family activities, demonstrations, crafters and vendors, music and entertainment and even a culinary contest. This quintessential fall festival will eliminate any blues you have about summer coming to an end.
PierogiFest
Bring your appetite to PierogiFest, sponsored by Clubhouse Grill on Sept. 14 at the Bethlehem SteelStacks. Feast on a dozen varieties of pierogis you probably haven’t had before, such as the sautéed taco pierogi, brisket pierogi, vegetarian sautéed Caprese pierogi and apple pie pierogi. You’ll also enjoy live music, yard games and more, so put on your stretchy pants and plan to make an afternoon of it.
Allentown ArtsFest
Don’t miss the Allentown ArtsFest, held Sept. 27-29 at Cedar Beach Park. Hosted by the Alternative Gallery, this fun event features three stages of continuous local music of all genres, plenty of kids’ activities, a skate park, giant graffiti murals, comedy and improv sets, breakdancing competitions, beautiful art on display — and for sale — and delectable local fare and libations.
