Check Out These Fun April Happenings in the Lehigh Valley

It’s official — spring has finally arrived. Warm, sunny days are on the horizon at last.

Here at HTSS, Inc., one of best temp agencies in PA, we’re bursting with excitement for spring. This winter was certainly a cold and snowy one, so we’re eager to warm up and get out of hibernation to enjoy all this amazing community has to offer.

No doubt, you have plenty of happenings on your April calendar. However, there’s always room for a little more fun. Here’s a couple of our favorite local activities that we don’t want you and your family to miss out on.

Pocono Raceway

Now that good weather is on the horizon, gather your friends and family for a trip to the Pocono Raceway in Long Pond. Free track tours are available Monday through Friday, from April to October, so get a firsthand look at “The Tricky Triangle.” Kids under 12 are free in the 100 level on Fridays and Saturdays, and they’re half-price on Sundays.

If you have a good time, consider making a return visit for one of the track’s three annual motorsport event weekends. The Pocono 400 will be held from June 1-3, the Gander Outdoors 400 from July 27-29 and the ABC Supply 500 is on August 18-19.

Crayola Experience

The perfect way to keep your kids occupied during April showers, the Crayola Experience offers 65,000 square feet of fun. Located in Easton, your little ones will be occupied for hours exploring the 28 hands-on attractions offered. Some of these include starring in your very own coloring page and naming and wrapping your own Crayola crayon.

Fun events are scheduled regularly at this fun attraction, so check the calendar to see what’s happening this April. Expect your kids to request plenty of return visits, as it will take several trips to enjoy everything the Crayola Experience has to offer.

CEO Letter

As a staffing and recruitment professional for over  30 years, I have seen many changes in the industry. Over that time, I’ve witnessed a transformation in the way organizations view staffing services. Today, we see more and more companies using staffing services as a strategic tool, rather than just for temporary fill-ins.

At HTSS, Inc., our focus is on helping companies create proactive workforce plans. Our goal is to help our clients use staffing strategically to increase capacity, overcome hiring freezes, access specialized talent, better manage increased workloads, and enhance overall productivity.

For our candidates, we help to uncover truly rewarding job opportunities—jobs that are a match to each candidate’s skills, and jobs that offer key experience and growth potential.

We look forward to strengthening our relationships with our current clients and candidates, as well as forming new and exciting partnerships in the future.

Sincerely,

Pat Howells
