Find healthy stress relievers — i.e., start painting at night or take a yoga class — take the time to prepare healthy meals, and go to bed earlier each night.  

When you feel better, you’ll be able to view your job with a fresh perspective. 

Set Meaningful Goals 

Burnout often happens when you feel like your work serves no purpose. Realize the importance of the hard work you do by setting goals that will make you feel proud. Choose something you’ve been wanting to focus on for a while, as this will give you the profound sense of accomplishment you really need right now. 

Switch Up Your Routine 

It’s easy to feel like you’re just spinning your wheels when you do the same exact things every day. Revamp your routine to freshen your day up. Try accomplishing tasks you’re least excited about first thing in the morning or walking an extra block to get your afternoon coffee from a different shop. Little changes can make a world of difference. 

Create Boundaries 

If you often work past quitting time or bring work home with you, it’s no wonder you’re feeling depleted. You need a life outside of work to relax and recharge, so reclaim this time that’s rightfully yours. Look for ways to work more efficiently throughout the day and if necessary, talk to your boss about the unmanageable workload you’ve clearly taken on. 

Surround Yourself With Supportive People 

When you’re feeling stressed, you need to be around positive people who will build you up. Talking about what’s going on at work, and being heard by a non-judgmental audience is extremely important. Getting this stress off your chest and hearing a new perspective on the situation will help you feel better.
