Unless you’re new to the area, you already know how much fun the Lehigh Valley is during the summer months. From festivals to fairs, there’s always more than a few happenings going on.
Three June Happenings You Don’t Want to Miss
Mark your calendar for June 8, because you don’t want to miss Strawberry Day at the Easton Farmers’ Market. For this special occasion, everything is strawberry — i.e., strawberry shortcake, strawberry cocktails, fresh berries and so much more — ensuring loads of delicious fare. There will also be live music and kids crafts, making this a fun day for the family.
If you love tacos — and who doesn’t? — on June 9 head to TacoFest at Air Products Town Square in Bethlehem. The festivities take place from 1-7 p.m., where you can eat and drink your way through the day, while listening to live music from Zaire, Flowers for Taco and Jimmy the Whale. Admission is free, making this event even more mouthwatering.
Schnecksville Community Fair
Nothing says summer more than the Schnecksville Community Fair. Held June 18-22, this fun event offers something for everyone. Enjoy rides, a coloring contest, delicious food and tons of entertainment, including helicopter rides, fireworks and animal exhibits. Admission is free for those nine and under, $5 for those 10 years old and up and $3 for seniors ages 65 and older.
