St. Pat’s Allentown 5K Race
One of the most festive races of the year, the St. Pat’s Allentown 5K is back for its ninth year! Held on March 19 in the West End, join the hundreds of runners who participate in this annual event, starting at 12:15 p.m. Stay energized throughout the race with encouragement from plenty of lively neighbors and bystanders who turn the sidelines into party. The Allentown St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place immediately following the awards, so stick around for a true Sunday Funday!
Allentown St. Patrick’s Parade
The Lehigh Valley’s oldest Irish celebration, the Allentown St. Patrick’s Parade, returns for its 60th year on March 19. Starting at 1:30 p.m., the streets will be filled with more than 2000 festive marchers, including 10 pipe bands and 8 divisions. Whether you’re participating in the parade or a bystander, this is sure to be an enjoyable afternoon. Don’t forget to wear your green!
