Four Must-Attend June Events in the Lehigh Valley

June is so fun in the Lehigh Valley, there’s no need to even jet out of town on vacation. Summer makes its debut this month, along with plenty of exciting activities, ensuring boredom will never cross your mind.

If you’re searching for or trying to fill Lehigh Valley jobs, find a way to balance work and play, because you don’t want to miss out on all the events happening in the region this month. Here’s a few of our favorites that should definitely be on your radar.

4 Must-Attend Local Events Happening in June

Lehigh Valley Food & Wine Festival

If you like food and wine — and who doesn’t? — this is an event for you. The Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem will host the Lehigh Valley Food & Wine Festival from June 1st-3rd. Sink your teeth into the most delicious event of the season, including a “Grand Tasting” from dozens of regional restaurants and wine vendors, a “Pork Tasting Adventure” and a cooking demonstration from celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse.

A festival for a cause, the event raises scholarship money for Northampton Community College students, giving you an extra reason to attend.

Saucon Creek Arts Festival

Head to Heller Homestead Park in Lower Saucon Township on June 2nd for a culture-filled day of fun. The Saucon Creek Arts festival is back for its fourth year, and it offers something for everyone. Enjoy a music lineup curated by Godfrey Daniels, photograph contests, children’s activities, historic home and garden tours, vendors selling homemade goods, fare from Lehigh University’s Füd Truck and more.

Step Outdoors Lehigh Valley

Get outside and have fun with your family at Step Outdoors on June 2nd-3rd. Held at the SteelStacks in Bethlehem, this event is designed to encourage families to be active. Enjoy tomahawk throwing, archery, birding and a two-mile mud run for kids. As an added bonus, Keystone DockDogs’ diving canines will appear at the festivities both days.

Food Truck Border Brawl

You know Pennsylvania food trucks serve up better fare than those from New Jersey, so support our local roving chefs on June 10 at the Food Truck Border Brawl. The rumble goes down at the SteelStacks in Bethlehem, where you’ll have the chance to dine on the best dishes from both sides of the border. To add to the drama, the music lineup includes the Bruce Springsteen tribute band The Bruce Show and the Philly funk band The Groove Merchants.

CEO Letter

As a staffing and recruitment professional for over  30 years, I have seen many changes in the industry. Over that time, I’ve witnessed a transformation in the way organizations view staffing services. Today, we see more and more companies using staffing services as a strategic tool, rather than just for temporary fill-ins.

At HTSS, Inc., our focus is on helping companies create proactive workforce plans. Our goal is to help our clients use staffing strategically to increase capacity, overcome hiring freezes, access specialized talent, better manage increased workloads, and enhance overall productivity.

For our candidates, we help to uncover truly rewarding job opportunities—jobs that are a match to each candidate’s skills, and jobs that offer key experience and growth potential.

We look forward to strengthening our relationships with our current clients and candidates, as well as forming new and exciting partnerships in the future.

Sincerely,

Pat Howells
