Is it Time to Reinvent Your Business?

Did you know that regularly reinventing your business to keep things fresh and innovative can be the key to long term success? Look at careers of famous actors and musicians who have spent decades re-creating their image and renewing interest by fans. It might be time to rethink some of your strategies, marketing plans, and service offerings to spice things up and attract new business to your doors. Here are a few ways you can reinvent your business.

  • Overhaul your products or services. It may be time to evaluate what services or products you supply and update your inventory to reflect changes in the businesses you service. If a product or service is out of date or not utilized as often, consider revamping or removing it completely.
  • Revamp your infrastructure. Making changes in your technology might help get your business on the modern track. There are a lot of options available today for businesses to streamline their processes and save time and money in the long term.
  • Change your sales and marketing strategy. When you see large scale corporations advertise on television you will notice that they change their strategies regularly. It might be time to create a new marketing idea for your business. Be sure to incorporate online and social media marketing into your new plan.
  • Cut prices. It may sound counter-intuitive but sometimes cutting your prices can drive new business through your doors. Do some research on similar businesses throughout the country and your area. What are their prices? What offerings are more successful? If you create deals for your customers they may come back more frequently and raise your profit.
  • Relocate your business. If you’re looking for a big change you may want to consider something drastic like relocation. You may simply move from one side of town to the other or you may consider other areas of the country that are friendly to your specific business model and structure. If you are open for a big move look at states that have good regulations for small businesses or who have a wide pool of candidates for hire.

CEO Letter

As a staffing and recruitment professional for over  30 years, I have seen many changes in the industry. Over that time, I’ve witnessed a transformation in the way organizations view staffing services. Today, we see more and more companies using staffing services as a strategic tool, rather than just for temporary fill-ins.

At HTSS, Inc., our focus is on helping companies create proactive workforce plans. Our goal is to help our clients use staffing strategically to increase capacity, overcome hiring freezes, access specialized talent, better manage increased workloads, and enhance overall productivity.

For our candidates, we help to uncover truly rewarding job opportunities—jobs that are a match to each candidate’s skills, and jobs that offer key experience and growth potential.

We look forward to strengthening our relationships with our current clients and candidates, as well as forming new and exciting partnerships in the future.

Sincerely,

Pat Howells
