Enjoy the Holiday Season in Bethlehem

Many people travel long distances to experience Bethlehem during the holiday season, but we’re fortunate enough to have ‘The Christmas City’ as part of our community. There’s no place more festive to visit this time of year, so make the most of it.

The holiday season is always busy — especially if you’re also looking for jobs in Lehigh Valley, PA — but it’s filled with joy. This magical time of year is perfect for making special memories with loved ones, so make time for as much holiday fun as possible. Here’s a look at a few of our favorite events happening in Bethlehem this December.

Three Holiday Happenings in Bethlehem You Don’t Want to Miss

Christkindlmarkt

Modeled after a traditional German Christmas market, Christkindlmarkt in Bethlehem is an annual tradition that can’t be missed. This family-friendly event features handmade works by more than 150 artisans, live Christmas music, ice carving and glassblowing demonstrations and offerings from Germany’s famed Käthe Wohlfahrt.

There’s also plenty of delicious food vendors, so plan to make a day of your visit. In 2018, the market is open on weekends from Nov. 16 to Dec. 23. Admission is $10 for ages 13+, $6 for ages 6-12 and free for kids’ five and under.

Christmas in Bethlehem

Nicknamed “Christmas City USA,” Bethlehem is the place to be during the holiday season. In addition to the famed Christkindlmarkt, the city’s main street hosts Christmas City Village and an authentic German Weihnachtsmarket, serving as a great place for all of your holiday shopping. Enjoy a variety of tours around Bethlehem — including Christmas City Stroll — a Live Advent Calendar and relax with a pint of Rude Elf Reserve at Fegley’s Bethlehem Brew Works.

PeepsFest

Ring in the new year at PeepsFest, the annual two-day celebration at the Bethlehem SteelStacks. Held December 30-31, this family-friendly event offers fun for everyone. Enjoy kid-friendly bands, magicians, a Family Disco Lounge, kids’ fun run, clowns, balloon making and more! Plus, there’s even a Peeps Chick Drop at 5:15 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, allowing little ones to welcome 2019, without missing their bedtime.

CEO Letter

As a staffing and recruitment professional for over  30 years, I have seen many changes in the industry. Over that time, I’ve witnessed a transformation in the way organizations view staffing services. Today, we see more and more companies using staffing services as a strategic tool, rather than just for temporary fill-ins.

At HTSS, Inc., our focus is on helping companies create proactive workforce plans. Our goal is to help our clients use staffing strategically to increase capacity, overcome hiring freezes, access specialized talent, better manage increased workloads, and enhance overall productivity.

For our candidates, we help to uncover truly rewarding job opportunities—jobs that are a match to each candidate’s skills, and jobs that offer key experience and growth potential.

We look forward to strengthening our relationships with our current clients and candidates, as well as forming new and exciting partnerships in the future.

Sincerely,

Pat Howells
